Here's your first look at the 2021 Jaguar F-Pace SVR facelift.
The Jaguar F-Pace is currently the brand's best-selling model, so it makes sense to see that there's no time wasted in giving the popular SUV a refresh to keep sales strong. We first caught the upcoming F-Pace facelift being tested last year, but if you want more performance the hot SVR version is also getting a refresh. After spying the regular F-Pace facelift in the snow, our spies have now caught the 2021 F-Pace SVR flexing its muscles at the Nurburgring ahead of its debut.
Like the regular model, the exterior of the F-Pace SVR facelift will be revamped with a new grille, reshaped headlights, and a new front bumper. And yet the prototype still appears to have the current model's headlights fitted.
New rear lights and a redesigned rear bumper also give the sporty SUV a fresher look, but the exterior changes will be relatively minor overall. To distinguish it from the standard model, the 2021 SVR will sport larger front air intakes, a rear spoiler, diffuser, and quad exhaust pipes for a meaner look. Sadly, our spies were unable to snap any photos of the interior, but we're expecting the refreshed F-Pace SVR's cabin to be upgraded with a new digital instrument cluster and a larger infotainment screen with updated software.
Under the hood, it isn't known if the Jaguar F-Pace SVR will have more power to play with, but the current model isn't exactly underpowered.
Powering the current Jaguar F-Pace SVR is a potent 5.0-liter V8 that produces 550 horsepower and 502 lb-ft of torque, enabling the hardcore SUV to sprint from 0-62 mph in just 4.1 seconds.
It isn't clear when the Jaguar F-Pace SVR facelift will debut, but it will almost certainly be unveiled after the regular model. Jaguar's hardcore SUV is expected to go on sale for the 2021 model year, so it could debut in late 2020 or early 2021. The current F-Pace SVR has only been on sale since the 2019 model year, so it's more likely to debut next year.
