Just days ago, leaked information revealed the Kia was set to show off two Nightfall Edition models based on the Sportage and Telluride. While the Sportage remains M.I.A, the 2021 Kia Telluride Nightfall Edition has just made its official debut. The 2019 CarBuzz Family Fun award-winner now gains a more menacing appearance with a slew of blacked-out styling elements.

Kia will offer the Nightfall Edition Package on Telluride EX AWD (with Premium package), SX AWD, and SX Prestige package models. The included photos show the car in Ebony Black paint but seven other hues are available including Snow White Pearl, Everlasting Silver, Gravity Gray, Sangria, Black Copper, Dark Moss, and a new Wolf Gray, which is exclusive to the Nightfall Edition.

As with all other Telluride models, power comes from a 3.8-liter V8 producing 291 horsepower going out through an eight-speed automatic transmission. Helping the Nightfall Edition stand out is a newly designed black radiator grille and unique, Nightfall-exclusive 20-inch black wheels with black lug nuts and center caps.

Other blacked-out elements include the roof rails, greenhouse trim, lower door side molding, skid plates, air-duct garnish, headlight and foglight inner bezels, door handles, and badges. Even the Kia logo is different than you get on other Telluride models.

"The Telluride Nightfall Edition offers a new choice to our customers who prefer a more assertive and premium look to their family hauler or weekend adventurer," said Sean Yoon, President & CEO, Kia Motors America. "Our biggest and boldest offering's already lofty appeal elevates with the addition of this special package."

No official pricing has been given for the styling package, which doesn't include any listed changes on the Telluride's interior. Kia says the 2021 Telluride Nightfall Edition will be available in the second half of 2020 for customers who want to add a little attitude to their class-leading SUV.
