Lexus offers limited edition Black Line variants of many of its current models, from the Lexus IS 300 F Sport to the GS. Last year, Lexus launched a Black Line version of the NX F Sport, and now the 2021 Lexus NX Hybrid has been given the Black Line treatment with a series of exterior enhancements. This is also the first time a hybrid platform has been used for the F Sport trim designation.
The 2021 Lexus NX 300h F Sport Black Line special is available in one of three exterior colors, including an all-new Grecian Water finish that matches the blue hybrid badging on the front and back. Ultra White and Obsidian colors are also available, which are usually only available with premium price tags.
Other enhancements include 18-inch dark sputter finish wheels and color-keyed over-fenders that extend the paint color closer to the wheel wells. Inside, the blue theme continues with exclusive blue stitching applied to the black trim, contoured seats, door panels, armrest, and center console. The NX F Sport Black Line also features exclusive floor and cargo mats with blue stitching.
Available safety tech for the 2021 NX Black Line includes an optional park assist and power tailgate with kick sensor in addition to the standard Lexus Safety System+ 2.0 that features low-light pedestrian detection and cyclist detection technology.
For the 2021 Lexus Black Line Special Edition series, Lexus is also including a two-piece set of two travel cases designed by Zero Halliburton, which include a chrome logo badge laser etched with 'Zero Halliburton for Lexus', lining featuring a Lexus grille motif and a Lexus embossed leather logo badge. Power is provided by a 2.5-liter inline-four hybrid engine producing 194 horsepower and 152 lb-ft of torque.
Limited to 1,000 units, the 2021 Lexus NX 300h F Sport Black Line special edition starts at $46,810 and will be produced over the next three months.
