As we step into 2021, Fiat Chrysler's trusty Ram Trucks brand is carrying its off-road-capable Ram 2500 Power Wagon into the new year, and for the first time, as Mopar Insiders reports, the automaker will offer three distinct versions of its badass 3/4-ton off-road truck. Each one covers a different price point and level of standard equipment, running the gamut from the no-frills Ram 2500 Tradesman Power Wagon to the special new Ram 2500 Power Wagon 75th Anniversary Edition.

If anyone knows how to do a special-edition model up right, it's Fiat Chrysler Automobiles.

At the base of the trim hierarchy is the 2021 Ram 2500 Tradesman Power Wagon, built upon the 2500's lowest-priced Tradesman trim level and outfitted with a host of off-road oriented upgrades. Those include standard Tru-Lok front and rear axles, a 4.10 axle ratio, Articulink suspension, performance-tuned dampers, a front disconnecting sway bar, and 17-inch matte black wheels fitted with all-terrain tires. A number of accessories - protective skid plates for the fuel tank and transfer case, a front-mounted 12,000-pound electric winch, and front fog lamps, for instance - are fitted from the factory, as well.

The MSRP for the Tradesman Power Wagon Package is $7,995, but it's not available on the entry-level Ram 2500 Tradesman - only the Crew Cab model with 6'4" box, bringing the total price with destination up to $50,240.

Stepping up from the Tradesman with Power Wagon Package brings you to the $55,230 standard 2021 Ram 2500 Power Wagon. The two models have a lot of overlap, but the standard Power Wagon features a few standard bells and whistles not offered on the lesser model, and an optional $5,795 Power Wagon Level 2 Equipment Package adds even more amenities. Those include second-row in-floor storage bins, heated front and rear seats, a heated wheel, a 115-volt power outlet with a 400-Watt inverter, automatic high beams, nine-speaker Alpine audio, driver's seat and mirrors memory settings, and plenty more.

Much of that equipment - including the automatic high beams, second-row storage bins, heated seats, heated wheel, and more - comes standard on the top-of-the-range 75th Anniversary Edition, which is all-new for 2021 and celebrates 75 years since the original Dodge Power Wagon military truck. The 75th Anniversary Edition Package, with its 17-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, beadlock-capable wheels, and 12-inch Uconnect infotainment, starts $11,715 higher than the standard truck at $66,945.

With three different levels of Power Wagon and the new supercharged Ram 1500 TRX now in its arsenal, Ram Trucks might just be poised to topple Ford and take over the off-road pickup truck market.
