Best known for its Mustangs, Roush's latest project is an off-road upgrade package for the 2021 Ford F-150 pickup truck. The only upgrade Roush has deemed necessary for Ford's 5.0-liter engine is a cat-back exhaust system, so beyond that, it's all body, interior, and hardware upgrades. The most impactful upgrade on performance is the suspension setup. A set of Roush/Fox 2.0 shocks take care of damping and are fitted with internal floating pistons to keep the ride controlled both on and off-road. The front coilover shocks are fitted with tuned performance springs that raise the front ride height by two inches to level out the truck's stance.

Upgraded suspension needs more tire to take full advantage of the extra ability. Roush has matched General Tire 33-inch Grabber A/TX tires to 20-inch gray wheels to make the most of the suspension upgrade. Over the wheels is a set of wide-body fender flares with integrated accent lights and heat extracting vents added. A high-flow ROUSH grille helps get more air in the engine bay, and a bumper cover with built-in running lights adds style and practicality to the front. The package also adds a set of Roush logo puddle lumps and new graphics.

Inside, there's a Roush gauge cluster, serialized badging, custom pedals with a rubberized grip, and custom floor liners made by WeatherTech. Optional for the interior is leather seating and a Ready Package, which includes center-console vault made of steel and accessed by a four-digit keypad as well as an off-road utility kit.

Exterior and performance options include an active control exhaust system a six-piston Alcon front brake upgrade package. Later in the year, Roush plans to introduce an Extreme Off-Road Upgrade package for those that need extreme off-road ability.

The 2021 Roush F-150 is available for four-wheel-drive 5.0-liter V8 equipped XLT Sport and Lariat models and starts at $16,745 on top of the base truck's factory MSRP price. The upgrade also comes with a 3-year/36,000-mile limited warranty and is available for pre-order.
