The 2022 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray was announced earlier this month with changes like a new low-profile rear spoiler and an upgraded direct injection system for the 6.2-liter V8 engine. Prior to this, Chevy revealed an expanded color palette for the Corvette C8 with the new additions being Hypersonic Gray, Caffeine, and Amplify Orange. To show off these new colors as well as a few other hues like the popular Torch Red, the company shared a few new photos of the mid-engine sports car. We think you'll agree that the C8 wears all of them rather well.

Sebring Orange was previously available but the new Amplify Orange appears to be its replacement. Zeus Bronze and Shadow Gray have also been dropped from the lineup and these have been replaced by the new Caffeine and Hypersonic Gray. Chevy is wasting no time in gearing up for the production of the 2022 Corvette. Not only did it cut production of the 2021 model short but the company has already launched a new configurator for the 2022 model. It includes access to colors that were previously available like Accelerate Yellow, Rapid Blue, and Arctic White. Customers can also configure IMSA special edition variants.

Inside, the same wide selection of upholstery colors is on offer. You can go for a somber Jet Black color scheme or much more vivid options like Two-Tone Blue and Andrenaline Red. If the new low rear spoiler is too subtle for your liking, there's also a new high-wing carbon fiber spoiler that looks far more aggressive. We configured a convertible in Hypersonic Gray (below) with the Spectra Gray Machined Trident spoke wheels and yellow brake calipers. Along with the carbon fiber high-wing spoiler, it's quite a looker. According to the Chevy website, the 2022 Corvette will be available from mid-2021. Pricing starts from $62,195.
