Outside of a few exotic automakers, you'd battle to find a company with a smaller lineup of vehicles than Chrysler. One of those models is the dated 300 sedan and another is the Voyager which is now a fleet-only vehicle, so it's only really the Pacifica minivan holding the company together. In September, Chrysler shared a few updates for the 2022 Pacifica, but we now know how much the minivan will cost for the new model year. Added to that, information from Mopar Insiders shows that the Pacifica lineup has been dramatically simplified moving forward. Previously, there were 3,550 combinations for Chrysler's minivan lineup, a number which has now dropped to just 53.

However, the reduction in model line complexity aligns the Pacifica more closely with other minivans. For instance, the Honda Odyssey can only be had in seven combinations but the Kia Carnival has 90. The Toyota Sienna tops the list with 206 combinations.

For 2022, Amazon Fire TV is now available for the Pacifica, which can be connected via the in-vehicle 4G Wi-Fi hotspot through Chrysler's user-friendly Uconnect 5 infotainment system. Silver Mist has been added as a new color choice, an enhanced clear air filtration system is standard, there's a new rear-seat reminder, and the Touring trim now comes with the Cold Weather Group as standard. This equipment group adds a heated steering wheel and heated front seats.

The Touring L now gets the Safety Sphere Group by default and it includes a 360-degree camera system and ParkSense with parallel/perpendicular parking assistance. The Limited trim comes with this safety group too, as well as the Premium Group, and gains a Harman Kardon sound system. Finally, the top Pinnacle trim now comes with the Trailer Tow Group in gas-only guise.

Chrysler elected to discontinue the base Touring AWD variant as well as the Pacifica Hybrid Touring trim, so the Touring model is now only compatible with the gas-only powertrain. The Hybrid Touring accounted for only 3% of customers, so it appears most shoppers opting for the hybrid also wanted a more generous selection of features.

As far as pricing goes, the Hybrid Touring L now costs $46,760, a $745 increase over last year's model. The Hybrid Limited is $50,660, and the Hybrid Pinnacle is $54,940. The gas-only model starts at $36,665 for the Touring and increases to $40,290 for the Touring L, $48,320 for the Limited, and $52,775 for the Pinnacle. These prices all exclude a destination charge of $1,495.
