The 2022 Ford F-150 range has been subjected to a series of price increases across the range. Initially, it was understood that these hikes would be taking place sometime last month based on a memo sent to Ford dealers, but the configurator for the 2022 F-150 has now gone live to put to bed any uncertainties about the price of America's top-selling pickup. The increases are more or less in line with the adjustments that were previously reported.

The only model that has not been given a price increase is the base XL trim with a starting MSRP of $29,990, which works out to $1,050 more than the 2021 XL based on pricing when the 2021 range first came out. Other trims have also received a price increase; in some cases, selected models are a good couple of thousand dollars more than they were previously.

What this means is, excluding the XL, the F-150 range will now start at $38,130 MSRP for the regular XLT. This will be followed by the Lariat at $48,140, the Tremor at $52,235, and the King Ranch at $58,610. Pricing for the Platinum will now start at $61,390 while the Limited will top the range at $75,835; previously, the 2021 Limited topped out at just under $71,000. These prices will increase based on whether you upgrade the drivetrain, engine, or body style. The Raptor's tough underpinnings and powerful V6 will now have you forking out $68,675 before destination and taxes.

Changes to the 2022 Ford F-150 range were detailed to us last September with the large truck benefitting from some crucial features developed for the F-150 Lightning range. To clean up its act, the brand decided to exclude the turbodiesel 3.0-liter Power Stroke. This was supplemented by a 3.5-liter PowerBoost V6 Hybrid available on higher trim models excluding the Tremor. You can catch a glimpse of the 2022 F-150 below in a new video, where as you can see, it remains instantly familiar to look at.

The F-150 remains one of the most capable and convenient trucks out there. The hybrid powertrain sports Ford's Pro Power Onboard feature that acts as a generator capable of sustaining 7.2 kW of energy that can be used to power tools or any other electrical appliance. The tailgate itself can also act as a work surface, allowing owners to get things done in a variety of environments.

Enabling a workspace within the cabin is the retractable gear shifter and an armrest lid that can fold flat over the center console, providing users a space to place their laptop or any other compact device. Maintaining convenience is an over-the-air Ford Power-Up software update program that ensures the F-150's digital features are maintained and updated regularly.
