Now is the time to buy or lease a 2023 Kia EV6. The South Korean automaker has announced new sales incentives effective immediately. However, the offers expire on July 5, 2023, so it'd be wise to act relatively fast. There is currently a $7,500 lease bonus for the EV6 Wind RWD trim that'll require $4,999 up front with a total monthly payment of $499 for 36 months. If you're not interested in leasing, you could alternatively finance with up to $3,750 in bonus cash toward the purchase.

The EV6 is available in three different flavors: Wind, GT-Line and GT. The former two can be equipped with either RWD or AWD while the GT is AWD-only.

The GT is aimed at performance junkies with 576 horsepower and 545 lb-ft of torque on tap, a 0-60 mph time of 3.4 seconds, and a top speed of 161 mph. That's nearly supercar levels of performance for $61,600.

"The Kia EV6 has been a home run, and this is an opportunity we think will appeal to many customers anxious to experience the EV lifestyle," said Steven Center, COO & EVP of Kia America. "With multiple available motor and drivetrain layouts and an EPA-estimated all-electric range of more than 300 miles in some variants, the EV6 offers something for everyone, and these special offers make it easier for customers to get behind the wheel of this exciting vehicle."

Regardless of trim, all EV6s feature vehicle-to-load (V2L) and 800V DC fast charging abilities providing 10% to 80% charge in about 18 minutes with a 350 kW charger. Kia decided to offer these incentives as part of a larger effort to boost EV6 sales after a drop-off in demand.

The most recent sales data indicates EV6 sales have decreased by 41% this year compared to the same time in 2022. The automaker is also moving relatively fast into the EV market with the EV6 and the upcoming EV9 SUV. Introducing customers to EVs is vital to the company's future sales.

The Kia EV6, most notably the GT, will become the brand's halo model following the retirement of the beloved Stinger.
