Audi has announced a few minor tweaks to the 2024 model year A6 and A7. The facelift was unveiled in the European market, but these models will likely arrive in the US later this year.

The subtly updated A6 and A7 don't subscribe to Audi's news odd naming structure yet, so the 2024 A6 will be available as a sedan or the lifted A6 allroad wagon variant, while the A7 Sportback is a sedan with a hatchback-style trunk. Europe also gets an A6 Avant, while America only gets the wagon in RS6 guise.

Customers can now select from basic, advanced, and S line packages on the A6 and A7, though this may differ slightly in the US. There will be more variation thanks to revised front and rear bumpers and a honeycomb grille structure.

The basic gets a matte black grille surround, while the advanced and S line get Dark Chrome and Platinum Gray, respectively. New wheel designs will be available, ranging from 19 up to 21 inches. These changes also impact the sportier S6 and S7 models, while the RS6 and RS7 are handled separately and will gain new Performance models with more power.

Audi will expand the color palette to 12 hues, including Arcona White and Madeira Brown Metallic on the A6 and A7 and Grenadine Red Metallic and Ascari Blue Metallic for the S line and S model derivatives. Inside, there are now eight trim options, including Olive Tree Natural and Ash Volcanic Gray Natural. Sadly, there are no photographs showing these new options.

Though the pictures show plug-in hybrid models, Audi no longer sells the A7 55 TFSI e model in the US. The powertrains likely won't change from the 2023 models, meaning the A6 will be available with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine as standard, producing 261 horsepower. A 335-hp turbocharged V6 is also available and is the base engine in the A7.

The S6 and S7 will likely remain unchanged under the hood as well. Both currently use a 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 producing 444 hp. Since all of the changes for 2024 are minor, the prices shouldn't increase by much. The A6 currently starts at $56,900, while the A7 costs $70,200 due to its more attractive body, larger trunk, and standard V6 engine. Stepping up to the S6 costs $73,700, and the S7 is $83,500.

We expect an official announcement from Audi later this year, with the 2024 A6 and A7 lineups arriving at dealers before the end of 2023.
