Range Rover is going greener with a new diesel engine. The Sport S, said by the British manufacturer to be coming soon, will pack a 211hp 3.0-liter diesel engine with torque measured at 383.5 lb-ft. The engine will be coupled with an 8-speed automatic gearbox for an all-wheel-drive configuration. The Land Rover Range Rover Sport S should cut down on emissions and be more fuel-efficient than its predecessors.

The British brand is claiming CO2 emissions of 224g/km and an efficiency of 8.5-liters for every 62 miles. The Range Rover Sport S doesn't change too much stylistically-speaking from the Sport, though you will have some S badges to flaunt around in the big SUV. No pricing information has been released as of yet for the Sport S.
