Combining the Leon ST's compact wagon bodystyle with the Cupra 280's powertrain, Seat has just unveiled the new Leon ST Cupra 280 wagon as it looks to change people's perception of it as the black sheep of the VW Group. This Spanish beauty comes packing a potent 2.0-liter turbocharged four-pot delivering 276 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque to the front wheels where a differential will be doing its utmost to keep all that power in check while minimizing torque steer.

The hi-po wagon also sports a Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC) system, modifying the chassis characteristics in line with changing road conditions on the fly. 0-62 mph comes in at 6.0 seconds with the optional DSG transmission, and is 0.1 seconds slower with the manual. Top speed is limited to 155 mph. The ST Cupra 280 comes with 19-inch alloys boasting a titanium finish, a roof-mounted spoiler, LED head- and taillights, black side mirrors, and a cabin trimmed in either deep gloss black or classic chrome. The spacious interior also includes Alcantara-wrapped sport seats and an infotainment system with 6.5-inch touchscreen color display.
