As you may have noticed, our love for wagons is so deeply ingrained - that we should be eligible for an honorary EU passport. The only thing we like more than a nice diesel, manual transmission station wagon, however, is a hot power-wagon that can blow everybody else's crossover to pieces. The Golf R wagon, now being tested at the Nurburgring, should be just our type. With VW's 2.0-liter TSI engine making approximately 300 horsepower, it'll be the perfect grown-up car for hot-hatch lovers.
