Car colors come and go. Chrome seemed to be the next big thing until lime green came along. Lime green's reign at the top didn't last long as blue chrome appears to be the wave of the future. These chrome azure supercars are both fast and easy on the eyes. Now chrome wraps obviously aren't for everyone, but it's hard to argue against the greatness of a Bugatti Veyron and a Nissan GT-R. If you have a thing for blue and chrome together as well as some fine supercars, then read on to see what's already out there.

The Veyron Centenaire edition is hands-down the fastest blue chrome car on this list. The Centenaire was created to celebrate Bugatti's 100th anniversary. What separates this Veyron from others, aside from the fact that only four were made, is that it's 200 pounds lighter thanks to the addition of aluminum and carbon fiber parts.

Mercedes-Benz shocked the world when they brought out the SLS AMG Electric Drive at the 2012 Paris Motor Show. The electric supercar is powered by four motors putting out a total of 747hp and 737 lb-ft of torque. Mercedes says the SLS AMG Electric Drive can sprint from 0 to 62 in 3.9 seconds and reach an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph. All of this glorious blue chrome can be yours for $550,000.

This Ferrari F40 is one of the blue-covered cars created by Japanese tuning house Office K. The late 80s/early 90s supercar looks striking-albeit a bit dated-in blue chrome. The all-black wheels are a nice touch as well.

Canada's own Restyle It is behind this GT-R covered in blue chrome. The Toronto-based shop claims to be the first company to bring chrome-covered cars to Canada. That claim is dubious at best, but that doesn't make this blue chrome GT-R any less awesome.
