Whenever the words "station wagon" are used, memories of childhood summer vacations often come to peoples' minds. However, Audi isn't an automaker that messes around with its cars and the "W" word is just too uncool for. Instead, Audi calls its extended-roof models Avant. However, these are high-performance machines that are appropriate for any enthusiast with a family and stuff to haul around. Tuning also helps give them an even better performance edge, making your mom's old wagon look even more out of place.

Popular German tuner ABT Sportsline is certainly no stranger to making a good Audi even better. This time it has turned its attention to the new 2013 Audi RS4 Avant. By simply removing the car's electronic speed limiter, Abt has raised the wagon's available top speed to 180 mph. Other upgrades include a new stainless-steel exhaust system that helps to give the 4.2-liter V8 an even more dramatic engine note. Power output is left untouched over the stock model, coming in at 450 horsepower and 317 pound-feet of torque.

We're already big fans of Vilner interiors, and this time the Bulgarian tuner has also turned its attention to RS6 Avant's exterior. Thanks to a new lime green vinyl wrap and plenty of black trim as well as Black Piano Varnish alloys, the new look is definitely unique and may not be to everyone's liking. Of course, the interior has been upgraded up with Alcantara on the door panels, ceiling, steering wheel and gearshift. The seats have Nappa leather inserts and even more lime green, this time as accent stitching. There's even green seatbelts.

Unlike the previous two Avants, this one has been given a major power boost, courtesy of MTM. The German tuner has given this station wagon some serious attention via engine upgrades that now produces 759 horsepower and 673 pound-feet of torque. With a top speed of 216 mph, this is one ridiculously fast wagon that will make any Ferrari or Lamborghini driver nod with sincere approval... if they could catch up to it, that is.

ABT Sportsline returns with yet another tuning job for one of Audi's incredible wagons, only this time it's the A6 Avant. Dubbed the AS6 Avant, the tuner has power upgrades for both its gasoline and diesel engines. The 3.0-liter TFSI supercharged V6 now produces 420 horsepower and 398 pound-feet of torque. For oil-burner fans, the 3.0-liter TDI has been upgraded with an output of 360 hp and a wicked 516 lb-ft. Other new add-ons include several aerodynamic bits, a slightly lowered suspension, larger brakes, and a new set of lightweight wheels.
