4 Top Challenger Tune Jobs

Tuning

Dodge's refreshed retro muscle car is no stranger to the tuning scene.

The Dodge Challenger is both good looking and pretty powerful in stock form. That being said, there's nothing wrong with beefing up the Challenger's engine and slapping a fresh coat of paint on it-which is exactly what all of these tuners have done. From 600hp engines to and wing doors to 22-inch rims and matte blue wraps, there's a lot to love here. Fans of the Challenger-and American muscle cars in general-need to continue reading below to see all of these topnotch tune jobs.

German-based tuner CCG Automotive spared no expense on its Challenger SRT8 tune job. The American muscle car's power output was boosted to 600hp and 470 lb-ft of torque thanks to a slew of engine modifications. Aesthetic upgrades include a lime green paint job, wing doors, 22-inch rims and a touchscreen infotainment center.

The SXT Plus-based special edition features a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 good for 305hp, 268 lb-ft of torque.. The 2011 Mopar Challenger Drag Pak set two records at the 2011 NHRA Division 1 National Open. Driver Dave Thomas claimed both the ET and mph records for the AA/SA Class, with his record-making pass coming in at 9.43 seconds at 143.90 mph. The Drag Pak is based on a stock 2011 and comes equipped with a Mopar solid rear axle with a performance gear ratio, a 2-speed drag race transmission with integrated roll control, a competition fuel system with fuel cell and an interior gauge package.

LA-based Advanced Automotive Concepts (AAC) and Oracle Lighting built this bright blue Challenger. Oracle provided its Super-Bright SMD LED Halos, highly visible during the daylight and especially visible at night. An E-coated Mopar T/A Hood, aluminum fuel cap, 22-inch Vossen VVs-CV3 alloys and a dual exhaust system with rectangular tips round out the exterior additions. Despite being shamelessly self-promotional, the blue Mopar wrap is actually pretty awesome.
