400-HP Audi RS3 Edges Closer to Production

Spy Shots

Set to be unveiled at 2015 Geneva Motor Show.

News broke earlier this month that the upcoming Audi RS3 will be powered by a 2.5-liter turbocharged five-pot rated in the region of 400 horsepower. These latest images of the Sportback variant were taken near the Nurburgring, and our spy photographer on the ground said the noise the prototype made certainly backed up the rumor. Compared to the S3, the RS3 will wear a more aggressive body kit with wide tracks and twin oval-shaped exhausts. And with all that power underhood, don’t be surprised if it takes out its major competition – the CLA 45 AMG.
