Unveiled in Detroit at the start of the year, Mercedes tuning maestro Brabus has finally gotten around to giving the GLA45 AMG a good going over, unveiling a suite of aftermarket parts and a useful boost in output. While upgrades to the GLA250 and 220 CDI have also been made, it's the AMG variant you really want to hear about. That gets what Brabus calls the PowerXtra B45 V-Max kit, which adds an additional 40 hp and 37 lb-ft to the G45 AMG's 2.0-liter turbo-four for a total output of 394 hp and 369 lb-ft.

It also receives a stainless-steel quad exhaust with a butterfly valve enabling drivers to make some serious noise, while Brabus says 0-62 mph will happen in 4.4 seconds and top speed increases from 155 to 168 mph. An aerodynamic body kit adds style and slipperiness in equal measure, with new parts including a front spoiler and splitter, rear diffuser, roof spoiler and bumper trims. There's also a selection of alloys, ranging from 18 to 21 inches in size, LED underfloor lighting, lowered suspension options, and numerous interior goodies including Alcantara/leather trim and aluminum paddle shifters.
