When you think muscle cars, you should be thinking about this engine.

During the lorry days of the American muscle car, each manufacturer had one engine, usually derived from one used in its racing program, that was like the holy grail of street engines. For Mopar enthusiasts, this was the 426 Hemi. This was an expensive and rare option, but these cars were so fast right from the factory that only recently Dodge has built cars that can outrun these old beasts in the quarter mile.
