These blinged-out MINI Cooper creations give a simultaneous salute to luxury and a middle finger to common sense. There's nothing wrong with throwing some d's on your Cooper S, but 1,000,000 Swarovski crystals and hot tub are overkill. MINI fans may want to shield their eyes when checking out the rides featured here. Folks with a sense of taste may want to consider doing the same. Still, there are plenty of people out there willing to buy and drive any one of these outrageous MINIs.

Marco Mehn turned a MINI into a lavish work of art for the 2008 Heim + Handwerk art fair in Munich, Germany. His artsy MINI features 20 hand-applied paints and three finishes. That's the art part of the equation. The bling factor lies in the 40,000 Swarovski crystals Mehn used to create all of the sparkly patterns on the interior and exterior.

German tuning company CoverEFX is responsible for the four-wheel handbag you see here. Its Louis Vuitton MINI is covered in leather and gold and is more or less the dream car of every woman. If you have trouble seeing why this MINI belongs on this list, then you need to get your eyes checked.

What this MINI limo lacks in Swarovski crystals and gold, it more than makes up for in hot tubs and leather. The lack of gems on the body panels is troubling, but the retractable flat screen TV, telephone (for communicating with the driver) and hot tub more than make up for that.

Kazakhstan's Princess Regina Abdurazakova's MINI limo may not have a hot tub, but it does have over 1,000,000 Swarovski crystals stuck to it. In addition to the crystallized body, the windows are covered in a special tint made using 50 grams of real gold. In case you were wondering, Dartz is the tuning house behind this carjacking waiting to happen.

Bling My Thing paid tribute to the royal wedding by creating a Swarovski crystal-covered MINI fit for a king and queen. This MINI has a whopping 300,000 crystals on it, all of which were affixed by hand. The crystals have been arranged in a floral pattern on the body panels and in the shape of the Union Jack on the roof.
