These amazing accidents show super-fast and super-light Le Mans cars being torn into thousands of bits and pieces. While the crashes are incredible, what's more incredible is the fact that all of the drivers involved in these accidents managed to walk away virtually unscathed. Those who like horrific crashes where nobody dies-the majority of the world, essentially-need to continue ahead to see some of the more epic crashes in recent Le Mans history.

This crash shows Scott Sharp absolutely destroying his car during a practice run at the 2009 Petit Le Mans. Despite the horrific nature of this crash, Sharp walked away uninjured.

Allan McNish added some fuel to the drama fire that is the 24 Hours of Le Mans when he smashed his Audi into a million pieces. As terrible as this crash is, McNish was able to walk away unscathed.

Marc Gene caught some serious air in his Peugeot 908 HDI at Le Mans in 2008. Gene only broke a toe despite catching some serious air.

You've got to wonder what the driver of the Ferrari was thinking in this video. He bumps the Toyota about to overtake him, causing the Toyota to become airborne and ending with both cars slamming into a wall of tires.

Peter Dumbreck is the unquestioned king of the Le Mans crash. Dumbreck caught major air and flipped his car several times before landing outside of the track. Dumbreck was somehow able to emerge from this amazing incident uninjured.
