It's easy to lose the Maserati Quattroporte in the incredibly crowded luxury sedan scene. Maserati's sedan doesn't sell nearly as well as its European or American counterparts, but that doesn't mean that it should be overlooked, especially in the tuning and special edition departments. The Quattroportes featured here include the sixth-generation version of the sedan, a variety of tune jobs and one very odd and obscure wagon version. Yes, there's a wagon Quattroporte. CDC Performance added some serious style and strength to the Quattroporte. The aerodynamic body kit was hand-built using something called a 12K carbon weave. On the engine-side, CDC performed an ECU reflash and added a twin-compressor system with intercoolers and a new exhaust system. These add-ons pushed the Maserati's power to 580hp and 420 lb-ft of torque, numbers good for a 0-62 mph time of 4.6 seconds and a top speed of 186 mph. Bigger brakes, 22-inch wheels and a stainless steel coilover were also added.

German tuners MR Car Design mildly boosted the power of the last-gen Quattroporte's 4.2-liter V8, raising its horsepower to 430 (a bump of 30 hp). Aesthetic additions include 22-inch Vossen alloys, tinted windows, new tailpipes and H&R sport springs that can lower the sedan by 20-30mm.

Last year, Wald International let the Maserati Quattroporte into its ultra-exclusive Black Bison club. New bumpers, a carbon fiber splitter, a chrome-plated exhaust, new side skirts and a new spoiler are just a few of the new additions to the Italian luxury sedan. The package is priced at $10,650.

Yes, this is a station wagon/fastback-style version of the Quattroporte called the Bellagio. This ultra-rare wagon was built in limited quantities back in 2008. No one knows how many are in existence, but this particular Bellagio was put up for sale (with only 961 miles on the clock) for $233,000.
