German aftermarket tuning firm G-Power has a love affair with BMWs. That's not a bad thing in the slightest. The tuner has produced some incredible projects over the years with each of its enhanced BMWs going above and beyond what normally comes out of the BMW factories. Sure, the styling and extra power may not be for everyone. But BMW fans know when a tuning firm does things right and G-Power has proven time and again it knows what it's doing. We've picked out five BMW models that each showcases the talents of the G-Power crew.

This M6 may look somewhat stock from the outside but underneath is a different story. G-Power has optimized the 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 from 553 horsepower and 501 lb-ft of torque to 631 hp and 568 lb-ft. Also fitted to the car was a coilover suspension, carbon brakes, quad-tipped titanium exhaust and 21-inch wheels.

The 1 Series M Coupe has officially been discontinued but we suspect it'll go down as one of the greats in BMW history. The gents over at G-Power managed to get their hands on one and immediately focused on increasing its output. Big time. By performing an ECU remap and replacing the stock exhaust system with a titanium unit that's 44 lbs. lighter, this 1M Coupe has an output of 435 horsepower and 435 lb-ft of torque. Just for comparison, the standard coupe produces 335 hp and 332 lb-ft. Thanks to this augmented output, the car goes from 0-62 mph in just 4.5 seconds and hit a top speed of 186 mph.

The paint color choice may not appeal to everyone, but the 830 horsepower in this E60 M5 definitely will. Dubbed the M5 Hurricane RR, this thing was given a BI-Kompressor system and two ASA T1-313 superchargers. All told, it produces the aforementioned 830 ponies and 575 lb-ft of torque. Performance numbers, as can be expected, are sick. It can go from 0-62 mph in 4.3 seconds, to 124 mph in 9.1 seconds and 186 mph in 25.2 seconds. Top speed - get ready for it - is 231 mph, making this one of the fastest sedans on the planet.

The X6 has sort of a love or hate it look to it. Whether it appeals to you or not is one thing but the Typhoon X6 M will certainly tickle your fancy. Thanks to G-Power's Bi-Tronik V3 Performance Kit, the crossover (of sorts) now produces 725 horsepower and 656 lb-ft of torque from its twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V8. It also received a widebody kit along with larger air intakes, high-level tailgate spoiler, carbon-fiber rear wing and sill extensions. The whole package isn't cheap, with the performance kit costing €13,526 alone. The optional ceramic brakes will also set you back a cool €26,240.

The M3 is a longtime favorite car for many and it's no shocker that G-Power went wild with one. How exactly? By rebuilding its V8 engine with a new crankshaft and Mahle pistons, displacement was raised to 4.6-liters, up from 4.0. Also added is a new supercharger system and a carbon-fiber air box and titanium exhaust with carbon tips. All told, it now produces 720 horsepower, boasting a 0-62 mph time of 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 205.5 mph. The package is finished off with an adjustable coilover suspension, the tuner's own 20-inch Silverstone Diamond alloy wheels, a lower front spoiler, and a new hood and trunk lid made from carbon fiber.
