Enthusiasts have had a difficult choice to make: getting into a car that's fun to drive or one that helps the planet. However, automakers have recently cracked the code to creating cars that are fun to drive and more fuel efficient than ever. The newfound technology isn't exactly cheap, but these five vehicles will blow your mind around a track or around a winding road, and will still help the planet stay green. Start saving your pennies now, because these five cars will surely lead the way for other hybrids that are fun to drive.

The Acura NSX is a bit of a disappointment compared to other supercars, but the vehicle is a leap in the right direction for hybrids. It looks better has blistering performance and will surely be better to drive than other hybrids.

The BMW i8 is unlike any other vehicles on the list. It has the looks, the drivability and the affordable price tag for enthusiasts to enjoy. Its turbo three-cylinder motor works with two electric motors for 357 hp and can still leave you smiling like a fool after a winding road.

All three cars in the Holy Trinity are hybrids, have unmatched performance, and can save the planet in electric mode. The Porsche 918 Spyder has a 4.6-liter V8 that makes 608 hp on its own and gets aid from two electric motors for an extra 281 hp. It also sounds amazing.

The McLaren P1 is a superhero that has even more power than the 918 Spyder and is arguably more track focused. The P1 has a twin-turbo 3.8-liter V8 that makes 727 hp and has a 177-hp electric motor for extra oomph. It even has a track mode for adrenaline junkies.

Unlike the other hypercars, Ferrari wanted to make the LaFerrari as drivable as any other one of its exotics. Its naturally aspirated 6.3-liter V12 is matched to an electric motor for an insane 950 hp. It's the quickest to 60 mph out of the three hypercars and easily the most thrilling.
