The Mitsubishi Lancer EVO might have been built to go fast in the dirt, but that doesn't mean it isn't also an incredibly capable machine on the tarmac. It can, of course, be made even more capable through modification, and this is what someone has done to the EVO 9 in the following video. The modifications to the car include Toyo R888 semi slick tires, something you definitely wouldn't opt for if you were tacking the car off road at all.

As an added bit of entertainment, the video includes a small picture-in-picture shot of the exhaust, so that you can see it shooting flames on the downshifts.
