Monstrous power marries aggressive, dynamic styling.
The Rolls-Royce tuning arm of renowned aftermarket firm Novitec, Spofec, has just unveiled its latest program based on the Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II. Dubbed the "Black One," the facelifted Ghost's bodywork has been finished in a durable deep black matte finish, complete with a chrome-plated SPirit OF ECstasy hood ornament. Aerodynamically-enhanced carbon-fiber components on the ultra-luxury sedan include a new front bumper, integrated front spoiler, rocker panels, a three-piece rear bumper, and trunk lid lip spoiler.
Two black-coated tailpipes as part of the stainless-steel exhaust system adds to the athletic back end of the Roller, while a combination of an air suspension that drops the car by 40 mm and a set of 22-inch matte gold-colored alloys results in a very aggressive stance. Spofec also offers a significant performance upgrade, which sees the 6.6-liter turbocharged V12 upped to 709 hp and 718 lb-ft of torque. That's enough to send the Ghost Black One to 62 mph in 4.4 seconds, while stopping power comes from a bespoke carbon-ceramic high-performance braking system. The interior can also be customized to customers' exact specifications, but we can't imagine many people wanting to mess too much with the Ghost's epic interior.
