Instead of opting for the more conventional route of adding power to a 1978 Chevy Monza, these guys supercharge it with store-bought leaf blowers.
When buying an old car you often have to take your chances and hope for the best; any number of things can go wrong. For the two hosts of “Roadkill”, their newly purchased 1978 Chevy Monza clearly had some issues that needed to be sorted out. But after gutting the interior and performing some major engine repairs that upgraded the 305 V8 from 144 to 193 horsepower, It's starting to appear things are already looking better.
Where the fun really starts, however, is when they turbocharge the car with five leaf blowers (seriously).Yes, this is technically possible and the Chevy’s output jumps to 205 ponies. But the real test to this leaf blower turbocharged contraption is when the guys take it to a standing-mile race.
