8 Orange Aston Martins With Delivery Mileage Looking For A New Home

From a V8 Volante to Rapide, these 2010 Aston Martins were custom-ordered in tangerine orange but they barely hit the road after delivery.

Dubbed "The Orange Collection," this stunning assembly of eight Aston Martin vehicles, all wearing a distinct hue of tangerine orange will go under the hammer at Bonhams' Zoute Sale on October 8.

While not as cool as the fire-breathing Aston Martin V8 from James Bond, The Orange Collection was specially commissioned by a Swiss gentleman. Aston Martin Lagonda Limited was tasked with creating the company's 2010 road-going production range in a bespoke shade of Orange with matching leather interiors. And the owner appears to have barely driven the cars as they all have not much more than delivery mileage on them.

The star attractions of the collection are the two DBS models, the DBS Volante and the DBS Coupe, each estimated to fetch between €80,000 and €120,000 ($85,400 and $128,100). Additionally, the lineup includes the DB9 Volante and DB9 Coupe, both estimated at €60,000 to €90,000 ($64,000 to $96,100), as well as the previous-generation V12 Vantage Coupe, with an estimate ranging from €50,000 to €80,000 ($53,400 to $85,400).

Rounding out the ensemble are the V8 Vantage Volante and V8 Vantage Coupe, both estimated at €40,000 to €60,000 ($42,700 to $64,000), and the four-door Rapide - not the unborn electric sedan concept - also estimated to go within the same price range.

The entire collection is estimated to go over half a million euros or around $534,000. All prices are converted here using exchange rates at press time.

"This is a truly incredible and bespoke offering and I envisage collectors wanting to secure the entire collection with many others trying to win a particular favorite. Whatever the outcome, the new owners will own a unique part of motoring history," said Gregory Tuytens, Head of Sales at Bonham Cars.

Whoever buys the collection will effectively take stock of brand-new cars, with the Aston Martin V8 Vantage Roadster having the highest mileage at a scant 236 miles.
