The Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 is already in a market niche all by itself. It's got a great big V8 which offers up the same kind of power as those German super SUVs, but its far more accessible price tag makes it more of a muscle SUV; a rare thing indeed. The SRT8 you'll see in this video is rarer still, in that it has been turbocharged and will now run the quarter mile in the 8-second range. That would be a massively impressive time for a much lighter vehicle.

In fact, the quarter mile for this beast makes it the fastest AWD Jeep in the world. Not a bad claim to fame. Hat tip to Harrison Zauke for sharing!
