The Audi RS Q8 really needs no introduction. Quite simply, it's the fastest and most powerful SUV Audi has ever made, but that hasn't stopped aftermarket tuners from taking it to a new extreme.

Earlier this year, ABT Sportsline boosted the RS Q8 to 700 horsepower. That's a significant power increase considering the stock SUV's 4.0-liter, twin-turbo V8 mild-hybrid setup produces 591 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque and surely more than enough power for most people to handle in an SUV. Not to be outdone, Manhart has unleashed its own tuning package for the Audi RS Q8 called the Manhart RQ 900.

Manhart's modified Audi RS Q8 generates a staggering 888 hp and 796 lb-ft of torque thanks to larger turbochargers and engine modifications. To help the hardcore SUV cope with all that extra power, Manhart has also upgraded the eight-speed automatic transmission.

The tuner hasn't said how this massive power upgrade affects the performance, but the tuned SUV should be significantly faster than the standard version considering it has around 300 more horsepower. A stock Audi RS Q8 will accelerate from 0-62 mph in 3.8 seconds, 0-124 mph in 13.7 seconds, and top out at 189.5 mph.

A 900-hp SUV needs to look aggressive, so Manhart has fitted a widebody kit that features a vented carbon-fiber hood, front spoiler lip, side skirts, wider wheel arches, and a rear diffuser, and also lowered the suspension by 1.18 inches. The result is one very angry-looking SUV. The Manhart RQ 900 also rides on custom 23-inch wheels with a double-spoke design and is fitted with a quad exhaust system. Inside, Manhart has trimmed the interior with leather and gold accents.

Only ten examples of the Manhart RQ 900 will be made, each costing an eye-popping €280,000 (around $303,400).
