99 Units and an Alpina B3 GT3 Hitting 192mph is One

The Alpina B3 GT3 cruises through the forest in quick fashion.

The 2012 Alpina BMW B3 GT3 was revealed back in December and looked outstanding at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show. Back then, the B3 GT3 was said to reach a top speed of 186mph. Here it is beating that mark by 6mph.

The Alpina B3 GT3 takes its motivation in the form of a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged straight-six engine rated at 408hp and 398 lb-ft of torque. It can accelerate from 0-62mph in 4.6 seconds and reaches a top speed of 192mph (309km/h). The 2012 Alpina BMW B3 GT3 was produced in a limited run of only 99 units. This particular model was piloted by Sport Auto test driver Christian Gebhardt.
