With the phenomenal Porsche Macan baby-SUV rolling closer to US showrooms, the lowest-priced Porsche in recent history is bound to be a hit. Currently, the Macan lineup - with the Macan S, Macan Turbo and possible future diesel and Macan GTS models - are only offered in five-door configurations. But check out this rendering of a three-door version of the beautiful SUV, which would perfectly complement the car's sporty character and genealogy.

The rendering, by 'automotive manipulator' Theophilus Chin, gives us a great idea of how such a model would look. The three-door Macan would be perfectly suited to take on the popular Range Rover Evoque, which is offered in both three and five-door configurations. Take this design and mate it with the 400 horsepower Macan Turbo, and you've got the crossover of your dreams. We think Porsche should get right to work on this one.
