The company that left Jeremy Clarkson speechless has a new model!
For those of you who have not heard of the car company Eagle, let us catch you up. Eagle is a specialized automaker that focuses on just one car; that car is the E-Type Jaguar. Eagle is one of the world's premier restorer of E-Types but gained huge popularity from building recreations of the original car. The first model, the Eagle Speedster, was even driven by Jeremy Clarkson. He said that he had never driven a car that he wanted to own more than the Eagle. Does praise come any higher than that?
Eagle followed the Speedster with the Low Drag GT, which was also incredible. Now the company that left Clarkson speechless has released a third model called the Eagle Spyder GT. Like the previous models, the Spyder GT is a replica of the E-Type. The car will be extremely rare, like the others before it. Eagle says it could build up to six, with each costing just under $1 million (the same as the Low Drag GT) apiece. Buyers will get a choice of three engine options, including the original 3.8-liter and 4.2-liter six-cylinder units or the optional Eagle 4.7-liter six-cylinder conversion unit. Each car will take more than 6,000 man hours to build, so we can definitely see how they justify the enormous price tag.
The Spyder GT will sit between the Speedster and the Low Drag GT in Eagle's lineup. The car will combine the styling of the Speedster, and the performance of the Low Drag. Each one will be completely bespoke based on the owner's taste, so rich people can rest assured that their car will be unique.
