718 Cayman

It was back in 2005 when Porsche debuted the Cayman, a coupe many would argue is better than a 911. Others claim the Cayman was, and still is, nothing more than a Boxster with a fixed roof. Well, both sides have good points but the Cayman is without question one hell of a good place to be when behind the wheel. Because of its fixed roof, it's stiffer than the Boxster and its mid-engine setup gives it the handling edge over the 911.

The guys over at XCAR have taken a look back at the original Cayman and what made it so great. The test car has a respectable 2.9-liter flat six that's good for 265 horsepower and 221 lb-ft of torque. That may not sound like much, but it's more than enough to put a smile on one's face.
