The latest Mercedes-Benz SL is not exactly the prettiest grand touring car on the market. If you want pretty, buy an Aston Martin. But then again, the AMG-tuned 5.5-liter twin turbo that's under the SL's hood is nothing short of harmonious. Want even more bonkers? Go for the SL65 AMG and its 6.0-liter turbocharged V12. Neither engine, however, will make the SL as sexy-looking as the SLS AMG. But what if it came with a shooting brake body style?

Theophilus Chin asked himself the same question and his answer is the following renderings. If you're not a shooting brake fan chances are you're not going to like this off the bat. But we kind of dig it. Too bad Mercedes will never in a million years build it.
