A Rolls-Royce Wraith Testing On The Nurburgring Is The Definition Of Ridiculous

Video

It sure isn’t going to beat any lap time record.

The Wraith is supposed to be the sportiest model that resides in the Rolls-Royce lineup, but by no means does that mean the 2.5-ton machine is an athlete. There is no better way to prove that point than to watch the V12 engine torture some tires as it attempts to make the heavy car go fast around the Nurburgring. As impractical as it seems, Rolls-Royce could be using the Ring to test out how good its GPS-aided transmission is at predicting corners or even wring out its comfort-oriented suspension.

Either way, the short run captured here turns out to be a dose of comedy on four wheels.
