The Ferrari 488 GTB and the California T are modern supercars that prove turbocharging is something enthusiasts should look forward to in the future. Unlike naturally aspirated Ferraris that cost an arm and a leg to modify, these turbocharged supercars can now be upgraded to hypercar performance for roughly $3,200. Alpha-N Performance introduced an EVOX module that increases output for both supercars by an incredible margin and can even be completed by handy owners.

The EVOX performance upgrade increases output for the California T's 3.9-liter turbocharged V8 to a whopping 680 hp, which is 128 hp more. But the real magic happens with the 488 GTB, which gets an additional 129 horsepower for an incredible total of 790 hp (up from 661 stock). With the upgrade, the 488 GTB is only five horses away from the Porsche 918 Spyder, while the California T is 10 hp away from the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4. Turbocharging may have its downsides, but being able to get an additional 130 horses with a simple tune is definitely one of the upsides.
