The Volkswagen Transporter has never really managed to enjoy the same level of popular or success as its famous Beetle-derived Type 2 predecessor did. A reason why is because the past two generations of the Transporter, the T4 and T5, never caught on as much as Volkswagen would have liked. An even bigger reason is simple the forgettable styling of the van in question. Brazilian designer Eduardo Oliveira has changed that.
He has created a retro styled proposal to fix this issue for the Transporter's successor. This conceptual Transporter is inspired by the famous T2 and T2 VW vans. Although the renderings still need some work, we're excited to see if VW will take some styling cues from Oliveira.
