A practical consumer-oriented review of a car you'll never buy.

CNET probably isn't the first publication that you'd think of to review the McLaren P1, or indeed cars in general. But there are a lot of technical bits to cars, especially hypercars, so sometimes the perspective of a tech journal is good in helping your overall understanding. Of course, the downside is that you'll have to listen to the reviewer compare aspects of it to a Tesla Model S, because tech nerds only know the name of one other car.

Still, it's a review which covers things that other reviews might not have thought of, forgoing some of the "holy shit it's fast!" stuff for actual information.
