To get the most performance out of the 2020 Corvette Stingray, Chevrolet is offering an optional Z51 Package that adds summer performance tires, performance suspension, adjustable threaded spring seats, larger brake rotors with Z51 graphics, and enhanced cooling systems.

It also includes an electronic limited-slip differential with a specific axle ratio, a unique rear spoiler and front splitter, front brake cooling inlets, a performance exhaust system, and an adjustable threaded spring. With these enhancements, the 2020 Corvette Stingray will hit 0-62 mph in under three seconds. This won't be the only package available for the 2020 Corvette Stingray, however.

As reported by Corvette Blogger, YouTube channel Brink of Speed spoke with the car's Performance Color and Trim Manager, Brett Goliff, during the Corvette's reveal event. At around eight minutes in, Goliff starts talking about the new Corvette Stingray's seat options. If you weren't already aware, the 2020 Corvette will be offered with three seat options including the top-tier Competition seat, which has Chevrolet's 'performance textile' on the side bolsters.

Things get interesting when it's revealed that the Competition seat on display at the event was completely covered in the performance textile and is being reserved for a special track package. "This version is for our track car, so there is a special track version of the vehicle that you can get that comes essentially as more of a black-out package that then comes in with this entire competition seat with the performance textile fabric. And it's awesome."

"It lowers the weight, it grips you and holds you in. This is a super exciting piece. No matter what, when you get a competition seat, it comes with the upper bolster and outer bolster with it, but this one comes with the full path that's available on that track version. And you can option it, so you don't have to get the track package to only get this. You can option it in a few of the other areas as well."

It isn't clear yet what other options the track package will offer and if there will be any additional exterior or performance enhancements, but at least customers will be able to tailor the Stingray for the track without having to wait for the hardcore Z06 and ZR1 variants.
