A Woman Wearing Blue Jeans Inspired Skip Barber To Buy This Ferrari 275 GTB

The things men do because of women.

You know Skip Barber, as in the founder of the Skip Barber Racing School. He’s also the owner of the Lime Rock track. Before he started his school, he was a racing driver who achieved a lot of success in Formula Ford as well as Formula One. He even once beat the legendary Jim Clark. But after his racing career came to an end, he figured that racing was something that could be taught, hence him starting the school. Famous graduates have included several NASCAR drivers.

So what kind of car does a guy like Skip Barber drive? A Ferrari, of course. Specifically a 275 GTB. Despite its multi million dollar value, Barber has absolutely no problem driving it because it was something made to be driven. The crew at Petrolicious sat down with Barber for a little one-on-one session about his life, career, and beloved Ferrari.
