As the flagship car in Audi's lineup, it makes a statement wherever it's driven. For 2011, the A8 has been completely redesigned. While it hasn't lost any of its size, it has added the latest in driving technology and supreme luxury. With a 4.2-liter, direct-injected V8, the car accelerates to 60 mph in only 5.7 seconds. In addition, the A8 is also offered with a choice of two diesel engines: a 4.2-liter V8 TDI and a 3.0-liter V-6.

What's truly amazing is that the 4.2 TDI is faster than the gas powered V8 (0-60 in 5.5 seconds) and delivers 31 mpg. The only downside (and please lobby Audi about this) is that it won't be available in the US, which is truly a shame. However, the 5.0 V6 is and it returns an impressive 36 mpg. Considering how large the A8 is, it offers all the performance a proper sport sedan should but with the added space of a large sedan.
