Abarth's new personalization program gets vividly demonstrated with unique 695 hot hatch.
The 2012 edition of the Paris Motor Show is gearing up to be one of the biggest yet, as automakers from all over the world are bringing new models, updated versions and special editions of existing models for display. Abarth is no different, as the Fiat performance arm has just released the first product of its new personalization program. Called the Fuori Serie, the program allows customers to coordinate unique trims to the interior and exterior of Abarth hot-hatches to produce unique models like the one pictured here.
Based on the Fiat 500, this Abarth 695 Fuori Serie Special Edition packs a 1.4-liter turbo four with 180 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque, driving through a Competizione robotized manual for a 0-62 time of under 7 seconds and a 140mph top speed. Brembo brakes and 17" alloys wrapped in high-performance rubber round out the package. What really sets this example apart, however, is its highly individual paint job that combines matte blue with yellow accents and the carbon- and Alcantara-trimmed interior. The result may not be for everyone, but it shows what the Fuori Serie can do for Abarth's clientele.
