The new-generation 2012 Volkswagen Beetle will be receiving a tuning from ABT Sportsline who has dubbed their creation the Speedle. The new package will most likely be available in September, just in time for the Frankfurt Motor Show. The concept stems from the idea that the new Beetle should be more agile and fun to drive. Judging by the images, there will be several upgrades to the bug such as new side skirts, front headlights, rear muffler, exhaust pipes and modified bumpers.

19-inch alloy wheels wrapped in high-performance tires round out the exterior. Under the hood, the power comes from the three available engines. The first is a 1.2-liter TSI that has been increased from 105hp to 140hp. The 1.4-liter TSI has been juiced up to 210hp from 160hp and finally the 2.0-liter turbo will give a performance of 210hp instead of 200hp. There are also two diesel engines that have been modified as well. The tweaked 1.6-liter TDI will now produce 125hp instead of 105hp while the 2.0-liter TDI will give an output of 170hp as opposed to the standard 140hp.
