We first saw this car back in September, but in the ensuing two months the Aachen-based tuning firm has been hard at work updating their offering in time for the 2011 Essen Motor Show: Europe's answer to SEMA. A redesigned front spoiler, rear roof spoiler, chromed racing exhaust tailpipe and customized 18- or 19-inch alloys make for a sportier look and an optional spring kit provides a sportier driving performance.

Performance upgrades raise the power output of the 118d from 143 to 171hp and the 120d from 184 to 210hp, while the interior has also been appropriately enhanced. An aluminum "Black Line" gear knob with digital gear display or an illuminated leather gear knob are available while the i-Drive system controller gets the AC Schnitzer "Black Line" aluminum cover. The aluminum handbrake handle comes with chrome details or fully in "Black Line"; and an aluminum foot rest & pedal set and velours floor mats complete the package.
