With a new facelift comes a new aftermarket package, and it's the BMW tuning specialist AC Schnitzer that is the latest to reveal a new program for the facelifted 5 Series. Ahead of its debut at the Essen Motor Show next week, the German tuner has revealed the nuts and bolts of the build, starting with an aero kit that includes a front spoiler, new side skirts and a tailgate-mounted spoiler. Optional extras consist of a ventilated hood and rear bumper insert.

Engine upgrades are available across the lineup, culminating in a 535d boosted from 313 to 360 hp, and a 550i upgraded from 449 to 525 hp. Other performance enhancing goodies include a sports exhaust, a 25 mm lowering kit, high-performance brakes and a variety of alloys, from 18 to 21 inches in size. Minimal interior changes range from alloy pedals to an illuminated shift knob.
