We're sure you can't wait to see the all-new Acura NSX. Unfortunately the real deal is still a year or so away from breaking cover, so you'll have to make do with seeing it in concept guise. On a computer game. That's right; the hotly-anticipated 458 Italia rival has been launched on Gran Turismo 6, which was released over the weekend, available exclusively on the Playstation 3.

Speaking of the launch, Mike Accavitti, senior VP of Auto Operations at American Honda Motor, said: "The wait is over for NSX fans eager to get behind the wheel of the next Acura supercar, and they can rest assured the actual production car will be even more amazing than the in-game concept version." The Acura concept is powered by a twin-turbo V6 mated to a dual-clutch transmission and Sport Hybrid SH-AWD system. The system uses one motor integrated within the V6 unit and DCT box driving the rear wheels, and two electric motors driving the front wheels. The all-new high-performance hybrid system enables instant delivery of positive or negative torque during cornering.
