Acura continues to tease us at this year's Detroit Motor Show by showing a new concept version of its upcoming NSX hybrid supercar, due for production as a 2015MY. But unlike last year's Detroit show, we're now able to see what design direction the interior will take thanks to this year's concept actually having an interior. The exterior design appears not to have undergone any changes, with the exception of a new wheel design, but it's the cabin that Honda wants us to focus on now.

And all we can say is well done. Very well done indeed. Like its sleek exterior design, the interior features beautiful styling thanks to what the automaker calls a "Human Support Cockpit" theme and the "synergy between man and machine."

The overall design is clean and modern but it's also damn sexy. Acura claims there's excellent visibility, an "exotic driving position" (their words), and a user interface screen that minimizes interior clutter. Tack on maroon leather bucket seats and plenty of other high-tech bits and call us smitten. The NSX hybrid supercar will be powered by a mid-mounted, direct-injection V6 that'll be paired up with Acura's Super Handling All-Wheel Drive system.
