Acura NSX Type R Will Be Seriously Hardcore And Look Something Like This

Not long after the Acura NXS debuted in Detroit came word that a more hardcore variant was in the works. As with the original NSX, which received an R variant, the Japanese carmaker is planning to apply the Type R treatment to the latest iteration of the supercar. That means, stripping weight via the addition of more carbon-fiber components and increasing the output from the twin-turbo V6 hybrid drivetrain.
