Acura has just confirmed that the automaker's latest supercar-the Acura NSX-will be featured in a television commercial that will highlight the brand's North American presence. No other details on the commercial were revealed, but it's likely that the NSX will get the majority of time on the big screen. Acura has stated that the NSX will be featured in the first quarter spot to point out the brand's return to "Precision Crafted Performance." Diehard NSX fans will remember when Acura made its Super Bowl debut in 2012 with the NSX.

Acura's national advertising manager Leila Cesario told Automotive News that the ad will be used to demonstrate the commitment to the brand. "We want to come back and really demonstrate our commitment to the brand," stated Cesario. Since 2016 marks Acura's 30th anniversary in the US, the "timing makes sense" to convey what the brand stands for while using the NSX as a statement said Cesario. According to Acura, the ad is part of a "comprehensive marking strategy that conveys the brand's values, North American roots and future direction." Unlike the previous spot for the NSX, the ad will not feature any celebrities. Acura hasn't stated how long the spot will be, but will air during Super Bowl 50 on February 7, 2016.
